Joanne Robertson Memorial Scholarship winner

Lillian (Lily) Wallace recently graduated from Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy in June, 2015. She attended SASA for 7 years where she studied music in the Voice/ Keyboard program. Her extracurricular activities included the National Honor Society (president), the environmental club, and varsity soccer. Lillian won first place in SVSU's Foreign Language day singing "An die musik". She will be attending Central Michigan University in the fall to major in vocal performance and earn a Bachelor of Music degree. She has received the Thomas Burkhart Music Scholarship, Ruth Mitchell Hanson Scholarship, and the Saginaw Choral Society's Joanne Robertson Memorial Scholarship. Lillian has also received academic and music-based scholarships from CMU.

University of Michigan MPulse Scholarship

Winners of the Glen Thomas Rideout Vocal Scholarships this year are: Katherine Hunt (11th - Bay City), Juliana Rowley (11th - Midland), Anthony King (10th - Detroit), Jamaal Stewart (11th - Detroit). We are so thrilled that this endowment was able to make it possible for 4 students to attend this year!

Glen Thomas Rideout Vocal Scholarship is available to students accepted into the MPulse Performing Arts Institute for summer vocal music study. MPulse applications are due in February each year. If you are accepted, we encourage you to apply for the scholarship.
